Hormone replacement therapy can carry serious health risks, but a new study suggest that menopausal women who use the hormones may have lower odds of developing colon cancer.

Two new studies in the New England Journal of Medicine show that a newly approved drug for wet macular degeneration offers significantly better results than previous treatments. But a companion editorial points out that the same company also produces a much cheaper drug that might work just as well.
